JALAN DHAR, FEBRUARY 27 Dr Alka Mehta, hailing from Jalandhar, has been nominat- ed for the Queen Victoria Award in the UK for her con- tribution. Dr Mehta, founder of an international chain of skin and healthcare centres, situated in London, Mohali, Pathankot, Delhi, Bangalore and Kapurthala, was recog- nised for her work in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for diagnosis. Her innovative AI-based self-diagnosis software in skincare revolutionised patient care by ensuring accu- rate diagnosis, appropriate medication and continuous monitoring.
